Reasonable Worshippers of Moloch Rend their Garments

Lifesite News reports: "World Summit Document a Disappointment for Abortion Supporters" All of the Reasonable power-that-be had demanded oblations for the Child-killing God. All demanded that sacrifice be enshrined as a "human rights." Their proxies on the World Summit document drafting committee tried to include language that unambiguously promoted abortion as an "international right". They did not succeed:
After months of demands to include language that would create a broad international right to abortion, proponents of abortion were disappointed with the final document issued by UN Member States at the Millennium Development Summit ending today in New York. Everyone from Kofi Annan to special UN commissions to non-governmental organizations to UN member states called vigorously over the past year that the new document must contain far reaching ratification of reproductive rights language, language that is used to promote abortion. It appears they have for the most part failed.

Earlier drafts of the document called for nations to ensure access to "sexual and reproductive rights." Pro-life lobbyists were able to get the reference to sexual right and reproductive rights removed. The paragraph was replaced with a call for "Ensuring equal access to reproductive health." The term "reproductive health" has never been defined by member nations to mean abortion but the language is still seen as dangerous since proponents of abortion will likely try to interpret it as broadly as possible.
Indeed, the term "reproductive health" has long been the American pro-abort industry's code phrase for abortion-on-demand. They've so equated the two in Reasonable minds that to say the latter excludes the former is to suffer from terminal Foolishness. I'm guilty as charged. I find nothing in the murder of one's child that contributes to any meaningful definition of health that I've ever heard.

Nonetheless, the loaded term stands. I'm grateful enough for the victory over the international pro-abort industry. While prolifers must address this Orwellian turn of phrase soon, at least that's all the Reasonable forced through. For now.

Meanwhile, remain vigilant, dear Fools. The Zealots of Moloch will bide their time now. When the media spotlight passes, they'll make their move to impose addendums to the document that promote abortion as an essential right. Failing that, they'll attempt to promote programs that effectively make Moloch worship a right. We must be ready to laugh long and hard. Then, we roll up our sleeves, break out our brooms and literally clean house!
