Extreme Exhaustion

Gasp for air,
arms cry out
from a walk with
my fine young fool
in my arms.

Crimped shoulders,
eyes sag from
a long day begun
far too early
to often

Mind a blank,
neary a thought
worth the words
to encase them
incommunicado

Huddle up
rest my weary head
Seek the sleep
I've longed for since morning
So rise refreshed again.

Until then,
Expect me when
you see me!
