Makes a lot of sense, doesn't it? Well, it makes a lot more sense then a woman becoming "ordained" in a secret ceremony by excommunicated "bishops", who also happen to have been "ordained" women. It makes more sense than being ordained and then hiding it. The Priesthood is a public ministry. It's sharing in the apostlancy of the Twelve. This is not exactly an in-the-closet calling.

Oh, wait. Maybe it's because she doesn't to be "outed" because she feared losing her job teaching religious education.

Oh, that's rich! "Teaching religious education". Does any one else still believe the Catholic Church has no issues in catechetical formation? Hello! This woman's cowardly act represents the distorted thinking of many Catholic religious "educators" that is promoted across Dioceses throughout the world.

Does it matter to Catholics that we took vows? No one forced us to profess our Faith. No one made us say "I do" to the Lord. Are we now to decide what is fair or not between us and God? Are we to establish a new covenent with him?

Breathtakingly sorrowful. When Foolables truly lose their sanity, terrible things happen. May God in his mercy draw this young woman and her co-conspirators back into his loving embrace. May they repent of their hardness of heart and once again join their hearts to his, that the world may be made new once again through their witness. Until then, they stand only as a sad sacrament to the pathetic worship of Self that threatens to swallow all societies into its abyss of Nothing.
