My father complained of the pain in his lower back and abdomin for weeks. He would promise to go to the doctor. When my wife would speak to him and ask if he went, however, he'd say, "No, I went to Costco instead." It got so bad that he'd even ask me to step on his back. As if that would work!

Well, he's admitted at Nyack Hospital right now. He's scheduled to undergo surgery to remove his gall bladder tomorrow. His diabetes presents a complication to an ordinarily routine procedure. People that suffer from diabetes have slower healing rates.

Please keep my father in your prayers as he prepares to undergo surgery. I appreciate it. Thanks.
